MEDICARE FOR ALL
I am a Registered Nurse, and I support universal health care for all. My opponent does not.
The current insurance-dominated model is a moral, legal, and economic failure. It costs lives by favoring corporate profits over quality patient care. Far too many Americans are forced out of desperation to adopt the emergency room for their primary care, and that is dangerous, inefficient, and the cause of many deaths in America.
The current insurance-driven system carries a massive 17% overhead cost compared to the highly efficient 3% overhead cost of Medicare. BILLIONS are wasted as we simply pay too much for health care while denying coverage to a majority of our citizens.
Through their taxes, a full 60% of Americans pay for insurance programs they are not entitled to participate in (Medicare, Medicaid, Military). They live in constant fear of a medical catastrophe that could wipe out their life savings. That is simply wrong.
Here’s the bottom line: 60% of the public pays for guaranteed health care coverage that they themselves are denied. This is fundamentally wrong and unfair, and it is readily fixed by providing guaranteed Medicare to every American.
I favor universal health coverage for all, and my opponent does not.
The Trump-Joyce Agenda is clear: they seek to DENY QUALITY healthcare FOR ALL and make it inaccessible, unaffordable, and a privilege reserved for the wealthy.
We can do better.

GREEN ENERGY JOBS
Ohio’s future depends on innovation, good-paying jobs, and clean air. I’m committed to expanding green energy jobs by supporting policies that accelerate renewable power development.
Two federally funded proposals stand out. First, the RTA Red Line—a rail-based commuter transit system—is a classic opportunity to provide jobs, reduce pollution, and cut traffic.
Currently, the Red Line ends at the Louis Stokes Station in East Cleveland. That limits its potential. What happened to commuters in Euclid, Willoughby, Mentor, Painesville, and Ashtabula? They are forced to endure the daily gridlock on Route 2.
Extending the line to these communities would take thousands of cars off Route 2 daily and provide rural workers with efficient access to urban jobs. A nursing assistant in Geneva could work at University Circle in Cleveland without the stressful hour-long drive, parking fees, or pollution. An airline passenger in Conneaut could take the Red Line directly to Hopkins Airport, avoiding long drives and expensive parking. It is that simple—the connection to the airport is already in place; we just need to extend the reach.
We must also increase energy efficiency and attract investment in clean technology right here in District 14. This means promoting solar and wind projects, backing incentives for homeowners and businesses to adopt clean energy solutions, and investing in workforce training so Ohioans can fill the jobs of tomorrow. Clean energy isn’t just good for our environment—it’s good for our economy and our communities.
Secondly, there is no rational reason to resist placing solar panels on top of every government building in Ohio. This initiative would save millions in electric bills, protect the environment, and provide jobs in manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. The Village of Chagrin Falls currently uses solar panels to power its wastewater treatment facility, saving thousands on electricity while providing clean energy. Government has the ability—and the responsibility—to lead the way in green energy.

NO MONEY FROM NOBODY
Everyone distrusts our government for good reason. Ever since the Supreme Court’s disastrous Citizens United ruling, government at all levels has been marred by the corrupting influence of money. In 2018, I won a seat on the Ohio Supreme Court by taking no money from anyone. My opponent had $2 million, and I spent $4,000 of personal funds. We reached voters by taking to the streets and the airwaves, capturing their hearts.
This year, the no-money concept takes on added urgency. I am running against a Congressman who has $3 million in the bank even before his official fundraising begins. You may assume we will be examining his donor list, but our primary goal is to capture the moral high ground. NO MONEY FROM NOBODY means no pay-to-play, which leads to the kind of corruption we see in Washington. For someone who sits on the House Ethics Committee, Congressman Joyce enables unethical conduct.
NO MONEY FROM NOBODY.
This congressional seat belongs to the people, and it is no longer for sale to the highest bidder. I know money is tight for all of us in this District. I want you to use those hard-earned dollars on your families—for that special night out, for school supplies, or to hang on in the event you might need a few extra dollars.
When I am elected to serve as YOUR representative in Congress, your access to me and my office is already paid for because you live in the 14th Congressional District of Ohio. I do not ever want anyone to think that this candidate, this campaign, or the office I seek has a price tag attached to it.
